Spiro Hondros founded SC Hondros & Associates, Inc. in 1970 as a general contracting and design/build company. Since its inception, the company has maintained the following philosophy: Always understand the client's wants and needs, then fill them, using first class workmanship and quality materials and construction in the most economical manner possible that will yield a project both you and the owner will be proud of. This philosophy has certainly contributed to S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc.'s success throughout the unpredictable - and often difficult - construction environment over the course of its existence.
S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc.has grown in a steady and carefully planned manner. In 1977, S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. developed a strong relationship with the Trammell Crow Company, for whom the company subsequently designed and constructed 70 projects totaling more than 6,000,000 square feet of space within an eleven-year period. Later, Trammell Crow's local partners formed their own company - Childress Klein Properties. They came to SC Hondros & Associates, Inc. who, since 1988, has provided them with more than 20 projects of manufacturing, office, warehouse and retail space totaling over 2,000,000 square feet.
The Hondros organization totals 45 field and home office personnel to. Their staff includes an in-house design department with registered civil and structural engineers, allowing Hondros to provide a single-source of responsibility on every aspect of a project, from conception to completion.
